Are Pets Beneficial To Raise Healthy Children?

If anybody ask you why you want to adopt a pet, there comes ‘n’ number of reasons for making a dog or a cat the part of your family. Whether to have them for having companionship or a desire to provide them a happy and healthy life, each person has a new aspect to become a pet parent.



Furthermore, many researchers have proved that owning a pet is more beneficial rather than living without a pet, and having a pet has emerged more positively in the recent years. The research study also claims that owning pet is more beneficial as these furry pals can make homes healthier, especially for children.

Many studies have come forth stating that pets can help their owners to stay healthy, maintains normal blood pressure, decrease stress and promote more social quotient. Pets act as a bridge bringing neighbors together and help their owners build reliable and stronger relationships with others. However, the positive effects pets have on children may be even more beneficial, wonderful and reliable.

Animal surgeons claim that having a pet in children’s life is more beneficial as the children living with fur family are least likely to suffer with respiratory tract infections, 44% less likely to have ear infections, and twenty-nine percent less likely to need antibiotics than children not raised with a pet.

Pets are also helpful in building immunity.
It’s a normal quote going around that the germs are bad. Many products are rushed on the market claiming it kills 99% germs in a short time. Though, it is a fact that germs are harmful to body, and they are neither desirable nor beneficial to our health. However, the fact is absence of all germs is not good. Exposure to small amount of germs, dirt and bacteria allows children to grow up as healthy individuals. Hence, pets can support in this natural and healthy process, and studies have now proven that it is highly beneficial for children.

In a nutshell, growing up with a furry pal can enhance the lives of children in many ways. So, growing your family with a pet is one of the greatest gifts that you give it to your child.
