What Is Flea Dirt?

Black specks on your dog's body is know as flea dirt. Flea dirt is a common name for flea poop.  It’s the feces from adult fleas, and it’s largely composed of blood meal and flea waste product. The fecal blood dries and breaks apart into reddish-black specks in a pet’s fur.

Where You Find Flea Dirt On Your dog?

You can find the flea dirt easily on the stomach of your pet. The reason you will get to see it easily in this part is because their fur is the lightest color and the least thick over here. If it starts turning to a reddish color, for sure it is a flea dirt.

·         Try to keep the unwashable items in direct sunlight
